We are adding a brand new event to our calendar this season. In honour of our amazing community, we are creating a space to relax for a casual, laid-back weekday meal. 

Every week, we will open the doors to our new dining event, Gather at Meuse Farm: a standing lunch for anyone who wants a reason to come to the farm and relax midweek. Serve yourself from our harvest buffet, choose your plate size, and settle in wherever you want around the Longhouse or farm. Come when you please between 11:30am and 1:30pm, and spend the afternoon with friends, family, or whoever walks in after you.

You'll find Cream of the Crop butter for the fresh-baked Mount Elsewhere bread; a seasonal main with vegetarian and meat options; something to balance your plate, like a grain, potatoes, or whatever we're working with that week; and farm pickles and salad to round it out. Drinks, desserts, and our cheeseboards are all available for additional purchase as well.

We built this new, casual dining event so there'd be an approachable way to eat on the farm, a way to celebrate our community, and a consistent weekly event you could count on.

What to expect:

• Small plate (R150) or big plate (R250)
• Vegetarian and meat mains, with seasonal grains and vegetables changing weekly
• Open seating from 11:30am–1:30pm. Arrive anytime, sit anywhere
• Self-serving and self-bussing with a relaxed, laid-back atmosphere
• Full bar, à la carte desserts, and cheese available as add-ons
• Book ahead (no walk-ins) so we know how much to cook
