Open Day Natural Dye Workshop | 31 January | 10:15-11:45am

Natural dyers work with nature, not against it. Throughout history and around the world, dyers have used plants, fungi, lichen, insects, shellfish, and rock minerals to create vibrant, long-lasting colours.

If you’re curious, join Margaux Newdigate (@doornhoek_dyes on Instagram) for a 90-minute mini-workshop. We’ll use Meuse farm dye plants to colour skeins of merino wool.

Margaux has delivered sold-out Natural Dyeing for Wool workshops at the Karoo Winter Wool Festival in Middelburg in 2024 and 2025.
