October Open Day: Wine Tasting around the Farm

R250 per person · From 11:30am

Like a mini wine fest, we will have around 3-4 wineries and distributors setting up tasting stations around the farm, each pouring between four and six wines, and walking you through the tastings as you go.

Your ticket gets you a wristband and multiple tastings of local South African wine farms that we love, and you're free to move between stations at your own pace. If something stands out, you can order a bottle from the bar to drink on the farm, or order straight from the station to be delivered at home. 

If you're drinking, you probably want a bite to eat. Be sure to pre-order a sourdough pizza or book a Gather lunch spot! The rest of the Open Day carries on around the tasting. There's produce and deli to browse, workshops running through the day, a farm walk with Iming, and a Gather lunch from Chef Caidi.

Good to know:

• Tickets are available online now and at the gate on the day, while they last
  
• The Open Day welcomes all ages, but the tasting is for guests 18 and over
• The stations are around the farm, so leave the heels at home
• Ubers can be scarce in Hout Bay, so schedule your pickup in advance
