West Coast with Caidi and Dean | Saturday, 1 August | 17:30

Meuse Farm's Chef Caidi, alongside Chef Dean Moult, are showcasing what makes the West Coast the best coast through its food and wine.

There will be five courses built around everything that makes the West Coast special: Roosters going into a coq au vin, cheese and dairy from Cream of the Crop, fresh oysters and mussels from Mussel Monger, cheese from Kokerboom Kaas, and more.

Winemaker Sakkie Mouton, of Sakkie Mouton Family Wines, will be joining us for the evening and will be talking about them as the courses move along. His wines showcase the West Coast's amazing terroir, and also what intentionality and a focus on farming practices can achieve in the bottle. 

The night will close off with a Saldanha Wine Co sherry alongside cheese, which we feel like is the perfect natural end to a West Coast table.

  • Five-course sharing menu celebrating West Coast producers
  • Wines from Sakkie Mouton, poured as tasters, and talked through across the evening
  •  Saldanha Wine Co sherry and cheese to close

      The menu is not vegetarian; however, vegetarian, pescatarian, and vegan options can be made available if arranged in advance. 

      ALL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS MUST BE NOTED IN YOUR BOOKING, OR EMAILED TO US AT visit@meusefarm.com AT LEAST A WEEK AHEAD OF THE EVENT SO THAT CHEF CAN PREPARE ACCORDINGLY. THANK YOU.

      Refunds

      We offer a full refund up to 7 days before the event, and a 50% refund for cancellations made 3–6 days prior. No refunds are available within 72 hours of the event or for no-shows. Tickets are transferable at any time — simply share the new guest’s name with us.

      Drink Options & Gratuity

      We have a light, curated drinks list which includes wines, beers, and farm-made non-alcoholic drinks available for sale.

      Additional drinks and gratuity are not included in the ticket price.
